Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
There are a few ways to soak in the 13 peaks of Jade Dragon Mountain which form a breathtaking massif to the north of Lijiang. Elephant Hill at Black Dragon Pool on the outskirts of tiny Lijiang provides an excellent view from the city. Get up close to the colorful meadows and rushing mountain streams below the intimidating slopes at Jade Dragon Mountain nature reserve. Last but not least, witness Jade Dragon’s north face within the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The view is as breathtaking and intimidating as any mountain face in the world as it towers into the clouds above.
