You will have an opportunity to visit the Lashi Lake, which hosts 57 different species of birds.
The Xintuo Ecotourism Company is a local organization that seeks to preserve the environment and culture by promoting ecotourism in the region and employs local Naxi and Yi-trained guides. It is community-owned with the support of The Nature Conservancy, and 10% of its profits are given to a conservation and community development fund.
